ABOUT ME
I am a painter and printmaker and love experimenting with both mediums. The subject matter that informs my work is inspired by land and sea, by their constantly changing colours, shapes and textures. Working in two complementary disciplines demands a different creative approach. This keeps my work dynamic, positive and enriching.
Most recently I have embarked on an exciting new venture with my husband, Fine Art photographer Matt Velarde. In 2023 we launch Velarde, a purpose-built Contemporary Art and Craft Gallery with a sculpture garden, boutique apartments and a Resident Artist studio, located at Kingsbridge in the beautiful South Hams.
